Every Musgrave generator is rigorously tested during it's manufacture prior to despatch, and all available functions are tested where possible, but there are still some functions and tests which can only be carried out on site.
Once the generator is delivered, and installed on the customers site, the unit is commissioned where all aspects of the installation are tested and signed off, prior to handover to the customer.
On site commissioning ensures that at the time of handover every aspect of the generator works as the customer expects. Integration into existing distribution systems, and genset control and monitoring is thoroughly tested during commissioning.
All mechanical aspects of the installation are signed off during commissioning, including exhaust flues, airflows, vibration isolation, sound levels, and fuel make up systems are all inspected & tested.
